Fertilizer/ feed for the plant

Fertilise your Lemongrass with a generic fertiliser once every two weeks throughout the year other than winters, You can also use a handful of compost every 20 days for a good growth.

Repotting

Lemongrass does not require frequent repotting, repot the plant in spring once the roots are visible over the topsoil (once in two years) in a rich but well-draining soil.

Propogation

Lemongrass can be propagated via division. Each leaf fan is attached to bulb like base, simply separate the bulbs and plant it in different pots. At least 5-6 bulbs in a single pot is a safe route to go.

Why is my Lemongrass drying up?

Drying Lemongrass can be either due to too much direct light or too little moisture.

When to water my Lemongrass?

Touch the soil of your potted Lemongrass, if the top inch feels dry to touch water it thoroughly and let it drain away.

Why is my Lemongrass breaking away at the stem?

Limp Lemongrass is a direct indication of overwatered plant. The limp stem means root rot. Unpot the whole plant and see if any part is salvageable and pot it in fresh, dry, well-draining soil.
